What is KPV?

KPV is a tripeptide (lysine-proline-valine) that makes up the tail end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH).

How does KPV work?

It appears to calm inflammatory signaling inside cells (the NF-κB pathway) without the pigment-darkening effects of the full hormone.
